Having graduated from the University of Sherbrooke in Family Medicine in 2015, Dr. Bastarache decided to pursue his studies in Sports and Musculoskeletal Medicine at McGill University. After completing his specialty in 2016, he participated in the coverage of sporting events and followed numerous sports teams. Dr. Bastarache was the Chief Medical Officer of the women’s professional hockey team Les Canadiennes de Montréal from 2016 to 2020. In addition, he has been the Chief Medical Officer for the Champlain College sports teams in Saint Lambert since 2016. A member of the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine, Dr. Bastarache also does follow-up and musculoskeletal assessments in clinics.
Dr. Bastarache enjoys working with people of all ages and athletes of all levels. He enjoys directing people towards optimal healing and increasing their performance potential.
