Pregnancy and breastfeeding

What is adapted nutrition for pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Each stage of human life has its own specific macronutrient and micronutrient requirements. In addition, a number of situations can affect the general state of a pregnant or breastfeeding woman, requiring that her diet be adapted.

For pregnant and breastfeeding women, these include nausea and vomiting, constipation, a reduced or greatly increased appetite, fatigue, foods putting at risk of food poisoning, specific nutrients with increased requirements during the period of conception, and so on.

A nutritionist can reassure, advise and support you in every situation.

Examples of reasons for consultation:

  • Constipation or diarrhea
  • Reflux, heartburn, bloating, cramps, etc.
  • Pregnancy anemia
  • Insufficient nutrition
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Insufficient gestational weight gain
  • Food fears
