Thanks to her varied clinical experience with athletes of all levels and her keen interest in athletic performance, Léa has developed expertise in sports physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and return to play. A former competitive athlete, she practiced competitive swimming for eight years, then university rowing, which gives her a deep understanding of the physical and organizational demands of training and competitive seasons.
With a bachelor’s and master’s degree in physiotherapy and a major in kinesiology from the University of Montreal, Léa is currently pursuing a certificate in sports physiotherapy. Her practice is based on a structured approach focused on movement analysis, load management, and tailoring interventions to each patient’s goals and circumstances.
Her professional experience is rooted in professional and semi-professional sports. She has worked with several organizations, including La Victoire de Montréal (PWHL), La Force de Montréal (PHF), Les Roses de Montréal (NSL), and the Italian national women’s hockey team, in addition to several seasons in rugby and consulting assignments with the Montreal Alouettes.
Curious and committed, Léa enjoys teamwork and helping active, motivated people achieve their goals, whether that means getting back into exercise, running, or competing.
