The Golfer's Training

The Importance of Training and Physical Preparation in the Practice of Golf

The world of physical preparation and training is becoming more and more important for golfers. We’ve been seeing golf professionals perform like real football athletes since the Tiger Woods era. The advent of technology allows us to appreciate the positive effects of training on club speed generated, accuracy of movement and the ability to repeat the swing with the same intensity. Whether the golfer is a professional or an amateur, the basic needs remain the same: flexibility, coordination, power and stability.

Laurent, one of our kinesiologists, has completed the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) training. This training offers an evaluation of 16 tests to identify the golfer’s physical deficiencies. Evaluating the mobility of the joints from head to toe, the flexibility of the muscles as well as the strength and power of the nervous system, this initial evaluation will allow for the development of a personalized training plan based on your needs, your limitations and your goals.

A program will be given to you through an application containing videos of all the exercises with written recommendations in addition to a messaging area to communicate with your kinesiologist remotely.

Private follow-ups for on-site training are also available to maximize your potential.
